Systems Guide for Installers - Teams
This guide is for electricians who have teams that they’ll be delegating installation work to either some or all of the time.
Get setup in our software
First, let’s get you set up with our app. You can download our smartphone app and link this to your online account by going here.
Second, we’ll get your team connected to your account and also get them setup in the smartphone app.
1. While you’re logged in, go to ‘Users’: https://au.jumptech.co.uk/user-management

2. Click on ‘Add Team’ and type in their details as shown below, ensuring you add the person as ‘Revcharge’. Do NOT select Account Managers.

3. Your team member will receive an email to create an online account - make sure they confirm their account and are logged in before going to the next step.
4. Inform your team member to download our smartphone app and link this to their online account by going here.
5. Success! You and/or your team member will now be able to receive and complete jobs.
6. If you have more than one team member to add, repeat steps 1-5 above for all remaining team members.
Please note: as the company owner, it’ll be your responsibility to accept an installation job from us, organise an installation time with the customer, and schedule it into your team member’s calendar. It’ll be your team member’s responsibility to view their schedule and complete the job in their smartphone app when at the customer’s residence. Be sure to pass on this guide to your team member so they know how to complete an installation job in the app.
Want to occasionally complete the installation work yourself? Just follow the guide below and wherever the instructions reference ‘team member’ replace with yourself!
Installer expectations and system overview
Our promise to our customers is their charging system must be installed within 5 days of it arriving at their house. To make sure this happens, we keep you informed throughout the entire project (via email and text and a smartphone app) from the time you’re notified of a new installation job to the time you install and get paid for it.
Our online system is easy for installers to use, and works in five simple steps:
- Notify
- Schedule
- Install
- Complete
- Payment
1. Notify
When we have an installation job for you, we’ll notify you by email and text.
Every job you’re offered will include a clear breakdown of revcharge’s cut and how much you will be paid. We want every job to be meaningful enough for our installers to take on. It’ll also include every bit of detail about the customer’s house including switchboard photos and desired charger location so you know as much about the customer’s home electrical system as possible.
If you want to accept an installation job, just reply ACCEPT to the email we send you. Remember to always reply quickly as acceptance of an installation job is on a first come first served basis.
2. Schedule
After accepting, you’ll be emailed with the customer’s contact information. You can then contact the customer via email/phone to book an installation date.
Ideally the installation date should be 5-7 business days after accepting an installation job, to give enough time for us to pack and ship the charger to the customer and to account for any postage delays.
Don’t worry, you’ll also be notified by email when the charger has been shipped and delivered to the customer!
IMPORTANT: Once you’ve booked in a time with the customer and the charger has arrived at their house, you must pencil in the confirmed date/time by logging into your online calendar.
1. Click the link in the email sent to you and login to your online account.

2. Click on ‘Schedule’ under ‘Actions’ (on desktop). Please ensure this is only scheduled on a desktop/laptop as our calendar function is unfortunately not mobile optimised at present. We’ll shortly be launching mobile functionality for this and will inform you when that is possible.

3. You’ll then be presented with a calendar to pencil in the time for your team member.

4. Click ‘Submit’ to save.
You and your customer will be reminded of the installation date 3 days and 1 day before by email.
3. Install
For your team member to get access to info about the job on the day of or before the installation, they’ll need to do the following:
1. Log into your smartphone app.
2. See the job on your phone and click on the job under ‘My Jobs’.

3. You will see info about the job including scheduled date/time, contact details and address of the customer, charger model to be installed etc. You’ll also be able to see a photos section with any photos provided by the customer beforehand (e.g. charger location, switchboard etc), along with any internal notes from revcharge for installers (e.g. if a switchboard upgrade is required etc).

4. Once on site, tap Depart → Arrive → Start at the top of your screen for that job. If you don’t do this, you’ll not be able to complete the below steps.

5. First, complete an initial point of work assessment (job safety assessment) questionnaire. All questions marked with an * are required.

6. Next, you need to complete the hardware installation of the charger.
7. Finally, remember to commission the charger properly (i.e. test it works and configure the interface on the charger), and activate any apps for the customer based on their specific charger. Refer to our specific online training on app activation by logging in here at anytime: https://happy.happyhr.com/#/user/login
4. Complete
After completing the installation, your team member must complete a checklist on their phone. This is important as our team will review this prior to payment being released to you. At the end of EVERY installation job:
1. Log into your smartphone app.
2. See the job on your phone and click on the job under ‘My Jobs’.

3. Fill in the ‘post installation’ checklist as shown below. All sections below must be completed.

4. Send an SMS from the app to the customer to sign off on the installation. Let your customer know they will need to sign off on the installation via SMS.

5. Once all mandatory data has been provided you should see the complete button become available. Click ‘COMPLETE’ to finish the job.

NOTE: In Victoria it is your obligation to lodge a certificate of electrical safety (COES) with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) within 30 days and provide a copy to the customer by email. For NSW a certificate of compliance must be submitted to NSW fair trading and a copy provided to the customer within 7 days. Not doing so is a violation of your contractor’s license. You can access the email of the customer from within your online account here: https://au.jumptech.co.uk/
5. Payment
Our electrical team will review your completion checklist within 1-2 business days. We’ll then send payment to you by bank transfer every Tuesday morning for the previous week’s work.
You’ll be sent an email with a generated invoice every week showing a breakdown of your total pay including the GST payable. We’ll also send along a paid remittance.
As the company owner, it’ll be your responsibility to pay your staff member directly after receiving payment from us to you.
