Tesla
The Tesla Model S is a battery-powered luxury class sedan made by the US manufacturer Tesla. It has been in production since mid-2012 and on sale in Australia since late 2014. The name is based on the science fiction comedy Spaceballs.
Tesla also sees itself as a software company and so equips every Model S with internet access. As a result, the vehicles can also receive updates, such as the driver assistance function known as the Autopilot.
The Model S was the best-selling electric car in the world in 2015 and 2016. It was also the best-selling luxury car in Europe and the USA in 2017. As of September 2020, 305,000 Model S units have been sold.
The body is designed as a 5+2 seater, in which two additional child seats can be installed in the boot if desired. It is also made entirely of aluminium. The electric motor is located behind the rear axle so there is an additional 150 litre frunk (front trunk/boot) at the front in addition to the 745 litre rear boot. The battery is installed below the cabin.
In August 2013, USA’s NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) named the Tesla Model S the safest vehicle they had tested to date. The Model S has a chassis with steel springs, optionally with air suspension, which also allows different ground clearances between 120 and 163 millimetres.
Most of the vehicle’s on-board functions are operated via a 17-inch touchscreen display built into the centre console, which was installed upright until the end of 2020. This is the first time a device of this size has been integrated into a production vehicle.

1. Answer: After you fill out a quote request form, you’ll be sent a text message to complete your request on your smartphone. This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
