There is hardly an electric car that is as popular as the Tesla Model 3. In mid 2017, the sedan was launched as the fourth production model from the US manufacturer and since 2019 the Model 3 has also been roaming the streets of Australia. With over a million units sold, the Tesla Model 3 is the best selling electric car in the world.
With the Model 3, Tesla wants to make electric mobility suitable for the masses. The five seater is available with either rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive. The central element in the cockpit is a 15 inch touchscreen while a large panoramic glass roof provides great headroom.
For the 2021 model year, Tesla gave the bestseller an engine update. The basic version now has a 239 kW (325 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. In the top version of the Model 3, two electric motors deliver up to 377 kW (510 hp) and a maximum torque of 660 Nm to all four wheels. For maximum range, Tesla provides the “Long Range AWD” model. Two electric motors deliver up to 366 kW (498 hp) and a maximum of 493 Nm of torque.
The standard Model 3 gets a 60 kWh battery and it allows a range of up to 491 kilometres according to WLTP. The two all-wheel drive variants “Long Range AWD” and “Performance AWD” come equipped with a 82 kWh battery. This enables a maximum range of 602 kilometres in the long range version. The more powerful performance version is able to manage 547 kilometres with the same battery pack.

Book a day and time for your installation. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date.
If you want an existing charger installed, just let your technician know when booking an installation date.
Once the EV charger is in place, the technician can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use them.

For the Tesla Model 3, the average charge per hour is 46 kms. This is based on a regular home charger at 7kw. The exact range depends on your home electrics, your car’s specifications, your power input (i.e. solar or battery) and the type of charger you choose (e.g. single or three phase).

We help you decide on the right EV charger and take away the headache of getting it installed. Our unique three step process is as follows:
1. Answer: After you fill out a quote request form, you’ll be sent a text message to complete your request on your smartphone. This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
