With the EQS, Mercedes wants to set new standards for luxury electric cars and they seem largely successful. It is truly an electric flagship and technology carrier at the level of the S-Class. It is available in two versions for now; the EQS and the EQS SUV.
Both EQS models impress with a degree of driving refinement that only the Maybach versions of the S-Class have offered so far. Anyone who has deactivated the artificial spaceship sound and the imitated V8 rumble can travel in almost absolute silence.
Air suspension is also standard in both models just like most S-Class Mercedes models, and as usual, it makes you feel like you’re flying on clouds. The suspension comfort is superb and responds sensitively to bumps even at low speeds.
Mercedes’ Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA platform), on which the EQS and the EQS SUV models are based, is flexible in terms of wheelbase and battery size. It can optionally be equipped with one motor for pure rear-wheel drive or two motors and four-wheel traction. Both available models are equipped with a 120 kWh battery.
The entry-level EQS has a 245 kW electric motor, while the EQS SUV has a larger 265 kW one. With direct current (DC) via a CCS plug, the fast charge process (10 to 80 percent) takes just over half an hour.

If you want an existing charger installed, just let your technician know when booking an installation date.
Once the EV charger is in place, the technician can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use them.

1. Answer: After you fill out a quote request form, you’ll be sent a text message to complete your request on your smartphone. This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
