After the mid-range SUV EQC, Mercedes launched the compact EQA as an entry-level electric vehicle. The closed black panel grill and the continuous strip of lights at the rear clearly identifies the EQA as a member of the Mercedes electric family. The rest of the body is otherwise identical to the Mercedes GLA.
When it comes to the drive, the EQA uses its 69.7 kWh battery capacity and optionally you can have a 73.9 kWh battery with the EQA+. However, both models have the same engine power, which is 140 kW and their maximum range is not that different. 458 kilometres for the EQA and 489 kilometres for the EQA+.
There are three driving modes to choose from, which influence the chassis, steering and engine characteristics. With the Sport setting, the EQA becomes a cornering master using more direct throttle response and firm suspension. However, even with the Eco setting, the compact SUV is no slow vehicle, because the power is still instant and sufficient.
According to Mercedes, the maximum charging power at DC fast charging stations is 100 kW for all versions. Using the AC charge (i.e. at home with a wall charger), the maximum charging power drops down to 11 kW and it should take around 7 hours for a full charge.

This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
