The Kia Niro came onto the market in 2016 and was offered exclusively and initially as a hybrid and plug-in hybrid, followed later by the purely electric Niro EV (e-Niro at the time).
With its 68 kWh battery, it set standards in terms of range and consumption. As a result, if you get a Niro EV, you’ll get a practical and spacious electric SUV with a range of at least 460 kilometres according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedures (WLTP).
Kia’s new Niro EV is visually self-confident with an expressive front end, large rear lights in boomerang design and the boldly curved C pillar, which is also available in a contrasting colour. The exterior is similar in all versions of the Niro EV.
In the interior, the electric Kia Niro has space advantages over the hybrid and the plug-in versions. Because, the Niro EV does not need a combustion engine or a petrol tank and that makes up enough space for a 20 litre frunk (front trunk/boot), and a boot that is 127 litres larger than other versions.
The 150 kW power of the electric motor in the Niro EV seems almost undersized on paper. However, the Niro accelerates quickly and powerfully enough, even when it comes to merging or overtaking. Kia specifies a value of 7.8 seconds for acceleration from a standing start to 100 km/h and the top speed of 168 km/h is rarely used in everyday life.

If you want an existing charger installed, just let your technician know when booking an installation date.
Once the EV charger is in place, the technician can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use them.

1. Answer: After you fill out a quote request form, you’ll be sent a text message to complete your request on your smartphone. This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
