The BMW iX is the only BMW car without a number in the model name. Instead, two letters are used, the meaning of which is hidden in itself. The “i” means “innovation” and adorns all of the electric vehicles in the BMW catalogue. The “X”, in turn, is used on all the SUV models of the German brand. An electric SUV is, after all, the most sought-after vehicle type currently.
With the designation iX, two new SUVs are now entering the repertoire: the iX and the iX3. Both new models are electric, and are therefore emission-free. They also both have the BMW’s kidney shaped grilles, even though the iX models wouldn’t need them at all.
The BMW iX supports up to 11kW AC and 200 kW DC charging speeds. This electric SUV can travel 425 kilometres on a single charge and can produce 326 horsepower. With 630 Nm of torque, the BMW iX xDrive40 can accelerate from 0-100 in 6.1 seconds. The batteries, which offer a range of 100 kilometres with a 10 minute charge at high power charging stations, can be fully charged in 40 minutes. If you are using a charger at home, it is able to reach full capacity in 8 hours.
Futuristic details like the front grille, headlights, frameless doors and recessed door handles manage to provide this BMW with an impressive experience. In the interior, the luxurious seats alone can make you realise that you are inside a real premium class vehicle. The minimal interior design also manages to offer a panoramic driving comfort and a lounge environment, especially for those travelling in the rear seats.

1. Answer: After you fill out a quote request form, you’ll be sent a text message to complete your request on your smartphone. This will include taking and sending photos of your switchboard, desired charger location and more. All of these questions have been carefully curated to ensure we provide you with a fixed-quote.
2. Choose: Our quotes include a recommended EV charger based on our assessment of your home as well as two alternative EV chargers for you to choose from. All options include the delivery, installation and activation of the EV charger quoted at a fixed price — making it easy for you to choose. We also have an installation only service for homeowners looking to have an existing EV charger installed and activated by a technician.
3. Install: We’ll then send you an invoice for payment. If you ordered your EV charger with revcharge, you will receive it before this date. If you have an existing charger you want installed, just let your technician know when booking your installation. Once the EV charger is in place, the installer can also help you connect any apps for the charger and show you how to use it.
We’ll also keep you well-informed throughout the entire process by email and text message, to make it as easy and seamless as possible.
